Canto e Chitarra
On occasion of the 6th Pentacost Musical Festival Landau - a series of concerts at Katharinenkapelle Landau organized by Prof. Markus Göttsche - soprano Jutta Zech and guitarist Harald Kühn will present their program Canto e Chitarra at a matinée.
For their present program, both artists have been studying the highly developed art of the Italian Renaissance and of Baroque composers. They have developed a fascinating musical kaleidoscope which includes pieces of Carmina Burana as well as the dramatic art of the Italian opera exampled by composers such as Antonio Caldaras and G.B. Pergolesis.
Jutta Zech, Soprano
was born in Ludwigshafen (Rhine) and studied at the Musical College Mannheim/ Heidelberg. She continued her studies under the direction of Renate Fried-Brender, Mannheim, and Brigitta Seidler-Winkler, Immesheim. She also participated in courses of the Forum for Ancient Music in Bremen directed by Barbara Schlick.
